Welcome to AAMeetingOnline.com, my name is __________ and I'm an alcoholic

Meetings are scheduled to be run daily at 7:30am Eastern, Noon Eastern and 10pm Eastern.
Additionally there is a Newcomer meeting Wednesday nights at 11:30pm Eastern and a Young People's Meeting Friday nights at 11:30pm Eastern.
We use GoToMeeting to run our meetings.
If you're using GoToMeeting on your computer, smartphone or tablet we suggest that you only enter your first name and first initial of your last name.
We also suggest that you omit your email address.
This is for privacy purposes.
This is a closed meeting of Alcoholics Anonymous, which means you need to have a desire to stop drinking if you wish to attend.
The 12th tradition of AA is about anonymity, so please who you see here, what you hear here, be certain it stays here.
The 7th tradition of AA states that every AA group ought to be fully self-supporting, declining outside contributions. In that regard, please support your local meetings or send donations directly to the General Service Office of AA in New York.
A few short business anouncements; if you're sober 90 days or more and are interested in being of service running a meeting on a specific day of the week at a specific time for a short term commitment of one month or a traditional commitment of 3-6 months then please email bill@aameetingonline.com and I will post that information for everyone in the Chat Box also.
Also, for the time being we're going to have the meeting running 24 hours a day, sort of like having an open door at an in person meeting, so if others happen to be around you can start a meeting anytime you like.
To reduce backgroud noise in the meeting please keep your microphone muted unless you are talking.
If you are calling in on a phone please use *6 to mute and unmute yourself.
If you need attendance verification, then please download a PDF file from the aameetingonline.com website
Please be considerate of others wanting to share in this meeting and share briefly.
We ask that you please refrain from Cross Talking. Cross talk is directly addressing and/or giving advice to another person in reference to their share.
Before we begin the meeting I would like to ask if there is anyone today celebrating an anniversary, milestone or anyone who would like to share their number of days in sobriety with the room, then please go ahead and unmute your microphone and introduce yourself at this time.
Thank you
If there is anyone in the meeting that's sober 90 days or more and would like to be the opening speaker and share your experience, strength and hope with us for about 10 minutes, then please do so now, otherwise I'll go ahead and open things up.
After opening speaker is done sharing, please ask if anyone would like to share
About 5 minutes before the meeting is over, please ask if anyone that's new would like to share and if not continue on normally
After everyone that wants to share has shared, please ask "For those who would like to join me let's close the meeting with the serenity prayer."

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can change and the wisdom to know the difference.

Terms: By using this website or meeting you agree to indemnify, and hold harmless others in attendance and the operators like you would at an in person meeting place.
